A new partnership for the Birding for All Project.

The College of Architecture and Planning, University of Colorado Denver partnership began in 2009. The first team of students was made up of graduate students from the Advance Ecology Design Project, under the direction of Charlie Chase, Senior Instructor, Landscape Architecture, their professor.

The first project of the partnership  was with the Colorado School of Mines' Team Eagle Eye, and the team designed the contents of the "toolbox" for the two test sites for the Birding for All Project.

An on-going project for this continuing partnership will be conducting studies on “wayfinding” for persons with visual impairments. The information learned from their conducted research will be used at the Empire PAW Site.
